At every step in our production process, we apply stringent procedures to ensure that we uphold our reputation for precision and, more importantly, give customers high quality products and services.

Many of our clients regularly audit our quality system and products. End-users from the India mining and energy industries subject our designs and products to rigorous field trials. Every person within AVIRAT Gears is dedicated to comply with our clients’ quality systems – this ensures that our Quality Assurance program is held in the highest regard.

Within industry guidelines, we tailor our Quality Assurance program to suit our clients’ individual requirements. This gives our customers the assurance that the highest level of compliance has been achieved and that we meet the required standards and specifications for each and every project.

Our Quality Department maintains the highest level of integrity and plays a key management role to ensure a smooth, efficient and integrated productive environment within our Production facility. Our meticulous approach – which includes constant monitoring and improvements to our manufacturing processes – enables us to avoid possible non-conformances.

This ongoing process commences at the request for quotation, and continues until the final delivery of manufactured components and the compilation of Manufacturing Reports or Quality Documentation Packages as per request.

To ensure quality of the highest standards, AVIRAT Gears follows set procedures and processes to ensure every component is scrutinized in accordance with relevant standards and customer requirements to achieve results as expected, including:
Comprehensive Inspection and Test Plan
Dimensional inspection processes during and after manufacturing
Non-Destructive Examination

AVIRAT Gears records very required detail of the manufactured component, and all reports and certificates are fully traceable and form part of either a Quality Package, pending the client’s requirement.

Reports may include:
Completed and signed ITP
Material Certificates
Dimensional Inspection Charts
Heat Treatment Certificates
Induction Heating qualifications and test pieces
Magnetic Particle Examination and Ultrasonic Inspections

All materials will be traceable from purchasing through to delivery of manufactured components, including all testing and verifications on any fabricated, manufactured or gear ground components.

Continual calibration of testing and measuring equipment as well as frequent verifications of dimensional inspection practices, gear metrology and paint specifications ensure client requirements have been met.
